Animal Box Office Estimate Day 3: Ranbir Kapoor Family-Drama Scores Rs. 75 crores on Sunday; Collects Rs. 205 crores in 3 days

The Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed film “Animal” has taken the box office by storm, grossing an impressive Rs. 206 crores in India in its opening weekend. After a strong opening of Rs. 63.80 crores, “Animal” maintained its momentum, collecting Rs. 67.27 crores on Saturday.

Early estimates indicate that “Animal” has crossed the Rs. 200 crore milestone in grand style, with Sunday’s collections expected to be in the range of Rs. 73 to 75 crores. The film is poised to collect Rs. 65 crores in the Hindi language, while the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions are projected to earn between Rs. 8.50 and 9.50 crores. This puts the Hindi-only total of “Animal” at around Rs. 178 crores, while the Tamil and Telugu versions have collectively amassed Rs. 27 crores over the weekend.

“Animal” has enjoyed a tremendous response across all screens, facing capacity caps in multiple locations throughout its opening weekend. The lack of available tickets is expected to result in strong spillover collections on Monday, and the film is well-positioned to pass the Monday test with flying colors.
