Gurucharan Singh Missing: TMKOC Actor Was About To Get Married Amid Financial Struggles | Report

TV actor Gurucharan Singh, known for his portrayal of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the beloved sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ (TMKOC), has been reportedly missing for several days, with his last known location being in Delhi. He was last seen on April 22, when he headed to Delhi’s domestic airport intending to catch a flight to Mumbai. However, it was reported that he never boarded any flight to his intended destination.

Gurucharan Singh was about to get married in a few days, but if the reports are to be believed, he was experiencing financial difficulties.

Recently, a close friend, Soni, of the TMKOC actor revealed that he was not keeping well for a few days. She said in a conversation with Times Now, “I had got a call from his phone on April 22 afternoon but his mother had spoken to me. She told me that he isn’t well. This was when he was coming to Mumbai. At night, I called him again but his phone was switched off so I thought his flight might have taken off.”

“I reached the airport and I kept waiting for him. I thought he must be getting his luggage. His personal phone was switched off but his other official phone kept ringing and no one was picking up. I then called his father and told him that he still isn’t here. At 3 am, his father called me again and asked me to go and check,” she went on to state.

Gurucharan Singh’s Friend Appeals To TMKOC Team

She further added, “If the Taarak Mehta team appeals together, the police in turn will get pressured. They have not said anything yet. The producer, Asit Kumarr Modi, is also currently out of India. Gurucharan has worked in the industry for 12 years so he definitely must have some standing here. All his friends must come together to find him.”

It is pertinent to note that following a kidnapping complaint lodged by Gurucharan Singh’s father, the police have launched an investigation and assembled multiple teams to locate the actor. Despite a scheduled flight at 8:30 PM this past Monday, CCTV footage later captured him at 9:14 PM at a traffic junction in Palam on the route to Gurugram, crossing the street with a backpack.
