Ranbir Kapoor Takes Pay Cut For Animal, Earns Share In Profits

Ranbir Kapoor is one of the highest-paid actors in Bollywood, but he took a pay cut for his latest film Animal. The actor reportedly charged Rs 30-35 crore for the film, which is significantly less than his usual fee of Rs 70 crore.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ranbir took a pay cut in order to have a share in the profits of the film. He has also reinvested a portion of his reduced fee into enhancing the production quality of the film.

Animal is a gangster drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by Bhushan Kumar. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol.

Bobby Deol’s Pay

Bobby Deol, who plays the antagonist in the film, reportedly received a sum of Rs 4-5 crore. This is significantly less than Ranbir’s fee, but it is a substantial amount for Deol, who has been struggling to get big projects in recent years.

Other Cast Members’ Pay

Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the female lead in the film, reportedly received a sum of Rs 4 crore. Anil Kapoor, who plays a supporting role, reportedly received a sum of Rs 2 crore.

Animal’s Box Office Success

Animal has been a box office success since its release on June 24, 2023. The film has grossed over Rs 200 crore worldwide and is still going strong.
