Elvish Yadav Admits to Involvement with Snake Venom at Parties

A news report from NDTV on Monday said that YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who won Bigg Boss OTT 2, has admitted he was involved in getting snake venom for rave parties. This comes after the Noida Police arrested him on Sunday as part of an investigation that’s already happening.

Elvish Changes His Story

Elvish, who at first said he had nothing to do with the case, admitted during questioning that he arranged for snakes and their venom for parties he threw in the past. The report also says he knows the five other people who were arrested last year on similar charges. These five people, who all live in Delhi, were arrested before and then released on bail.

Why Was Elvish Arrested?

The Noida Police arrested Elvish on Sunday because they’re investigating claims that snake venom was being used as a drug for fun at parties in the National Capital Region (NCR). He’s been sent to jail for 14 days while the court case happens. Police officers say they have a lot of evidence showing Elvish was involved in giving out snake venom.

Charges Against Elvish

Elvish, along with the five others who were arrested before, were charged with breaking the Wildlife Protection Act and planning a crime together in November 2023. This happened after an animal rights activist who works with People For Animals (an NGO) filed a complaint. The complaint said Elvish and the others gave snake venom to people at a party in Sector 51 of Noida.
