Ranbir Kapoor roars back with Animal: A box office bonanza 

Ranbir Kapoor is BACK! After facing some ups and downs in his career, his latest film, “Animal,” has taken the box office by storm. It’s not just a hit, it’s a mega-hit, proving that Ranbir is a true superstar who can pull in the crowds.

Before the pandemic, Ranbir’s last big success was “Sanju” in 2018. Then came a big gap and some not-so-successful films like “Shamshera.” But he didn’t give up. Enter “Brahmastra,” a fantasy film that faced some online negativity before release. Despite the trolls, it opened big and ended up being a solid hit, setting the stage for its sequel.

And then came the beast, “Animal.” The teasers and posters were good, but the trailer blew everyone away. People were crazy about it! This led to a massive opening of ₹63 crores, which is pretty impressive considering it was an “A” rated film (meaning adults only) and over 3 hours long! And guess what? Another film, “Sam Bahadur,” released on the same day, but “Animal” wouldn’t budge. It held its ground and kept bringing in the money. As of now, it’s crossed a whopping ₹448 crores in India alone, even doing well in Telugu, which means good things for Ranbir’s future films in that region.

By the way, did you know Ranbir’s wife, Alia Bhatt, is the only actress to have three straight ₹100 crore movies? Pretty cool, right?
