Each and every year, we observe that the award season introduced in the tinsel town. But these award ceremonies also bring sometimes huge controversies. Aficionados’ literally watch this award shows with massive excitement.

No wonder why those shows are literally popular among the mass. Usually, most of the Bollywood movies are dominated by a big-budget, prominent-star-in-the-lead and those movies if received huge hype already then it is possible that the movies wills sweeps of most of the possible awards.

But sadly, when we look back at the films that created this legacy is really not worth of it. On seeing the popularity of these award winning films we can say that they completely deserve the honoured they receive, there are some others that make us question that whether these movies are really worth to win even a single award.

Here are 8 Bollywood films that won a lot of awards but are the movies are really worth to have this honours:

1.Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai – 92 awards:

Hrithik Roshan’s debut film was simply different genre movie in that time. However, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hain was a simply masala flick of early 2000. With a regular story the film actually did not served anything new still it won a record of 92 awards.

The Rakesh Roshan directed Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai had been already securing a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for winning the most number of awards.

With Amisha Patel’s moderate acting the film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai has the most predictable story ever, but still it is blockbuster flick and having highest number of awards on its kitty.

2.Veer-Zaara – More than 30 awards:

Yash Chopra’s magnum opus drama Veer-Zaara was much touted film of back era. The all credit of it should be gone to the enormous star cast the film had. But still if you see the film you will realised that it is only having a moderate story.

The film stretches on for more than 3 hours with an Indo-Pak love story but still there were nothing unique in the melodrama. However, the film won more than 30 awards which was a big deal in 2005.

3.The Dirty Picture – 50 awards:

This film firmly established Vidya Balan as a terrific actress, and for this movie she also received the very prestigious National Award. However, we have to accept the fact that the picturization which the film The Dirty Picture had it was amazing.

Vidya also steals the show completely in the film which was set in the 1980s, and its scenes display that actually made in the 1980s too.

But frankly speaking in this women-centric film there were nothing apart from only glamour. So if we speak about the film The Dirty Picture we will only speak entertainment, entertainment and entertainment.

4.Raja Hindustani – 12 awards:

Karisma Kapoor’s jaw dropping transformation in the movie Raja Hindustani was well received by the audiences. For his performance in the movie Aamir Khan received huge acknowledgment. It was also surprisingly, to see that the film won 5 Filmfare awards and even swept most of the awards.

Despite doing average business at the box office, Jab Tak Hai Jaan grabbed 30 awards. Frankly speaking as an audience we want decent reason to know how this film can win 30 awards.

6.Krrish – 15 awards:

Well, Krrish was in the race for India’s entry to the 2007 Oscars but the film never sent there. Still the Hrithik Roshan-starrer is blessed to have 15 awards on its kitty. Not only was this the director Rakesh Roshan won the titled, Creative Person of the Year.
