Animal’s Box Office Roar Shows Signs of Fatigue

Ranbir Kapoor’s action-drama, Animal, has raked in big bucks at the box office. In its first ten days, it almost reached Rs 500 crore in India alone! But things are slowing down a bit. On Wednesday, it earned its lowest daily collection yet, just Rs 10 crore.

After a strong first week, the movie’s earnings have dropped in the second week. Still, it’s a huge success! It’s almost half a billion rupees richer in India and over Rs 750 crore worldwide.

Not all Indian cities are feeling the fatigue equally. Places like Pune, Chennai, Jaipur, and Delhi are still going strong with good theatre attendance. Mumbai and Hyderabad, though, seem less excited.

Animal tells the story of a complicated father-son relationship in the world of crime. Ranbir Kapoor shares the screen with Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and other big names. It’s released in five languages, making it a pan-India hit.

So, while Animal might not be roaring as loudly as it was, it’s still a massive box office success and a feather in Ranbir Kapoor’s cap.
