Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif secretly dated for a few years before getting married in a beautiful ceremony in December 2021. Their love story began on the “Koffee with Karan” show, where Katrina revealed she wanted to work with Vicky.

Although they haven’t been seen in a movie together yet, their love is clear through their social media posts and red carpet appearances.

On the latest episode of “Koffee with Karan,” Vicky finally revealed how he proposed to Katrina. Due to their busy schedules, he couldn’t plan a big proposal.

Instead, he got down on one knee and proposed to her in their hotel room the night before their wedding, before their friends and family arrived.

“It was very last minute. I had been warned by everybody that if you don’t propose, it’s something you’ll have to be prepared for for the rest of your life that you got to hear about it. I did that one day before the wedding It was dinner just before any of the friends and families could come,” the actor said.

Vicky also said that he met Katrina’s siblings and mother for the first time just a week before the wedding when they flew down to Mumbai. Known for his moves, Vicky told Karan that he used his dancing talent to impress her family. In his words, he ‘broke the ice’ by grooving to Tip Tip Barsa Paani, which warmed them up to him.

Karan Johar didn’t stop there with the juicy details. He asked Vicky the cute names Katrina calls him. Vicky revealed, blushing, that she calls him “Booboo,” “baby,” and “aey!” This made everyone laugh!

Kiara knew he might propose during the trip, but she didn’t expect it so soon. Sidharth, like a true romantic, got down on one knee during a fancy dinner with violins playing in the background.
