Jigarthanda DoubleX (2023) is a Tamil-language period action comedy film written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. It is a spiritual successor to Jigarthanda (2014) and stars Raghava Lawrence and S. J. Suryah in the lead roles.

Set in 1975, the film follows the story of Pandiyan, a notorious gangster in Madurai who aspires to be the first dark-skinned actor in Tamil cinema. He hires Ray Dasan, a budding filmmaker who has assisted Satyajit Ray, to direct a Clint Eastwood-style western film titled Pandyaa. However, as the shooting progresses, Pandiyan’s rivals begin to hunt him down, causing various problems to the shoot.

Plot:
