11 Times When Bollywood Celebrities Got Into Ugly Fights with Media

Bollywood industry and media go hand in hand. They exist in a symbiotic setup, wherein both are dependent on each other for their existence. However, there are times when this symbiotic relationship sees ups and down in the form of media boycott, fights, etc. There are umpteen incidents when Bollywood celebrities ran amok with media personnel for their absurd questions (mostly) or rumour-mongering reports.

1. Salman Khan

When Salman Khan was questioned about the credibility of his philanthropic venture Being Human, the actor walked out of the conference. The reporter accused him of trying to whitewash his image by starting a non-profit organization. Responding to the allegations, Salman Khan said,

“Do you have any idea of the amount of work we do at Being Human? We do shit loads of work on a daily basis. I haven’t even put my name there, man. I’m not even on the Board, or any of the trustees. The idea is that years from now, people should forget who even started the foundation. You have no idea, man. Do one thing: Come and live my life for one day.”

2. Hrithik Roshan

When Hrithik Roshan visited Shirdi before the release of his film Kites, he was mobbed by paparazzi for pictures. Even after refusal, they continued to click pictures. He lost his temper and pushed one of the paparazzi out of the temple by grabbing him by his neck.

3. Parineeti Chopra

A journalist, who cannot think straight about women, said horrible things about women. Parineeti Chopra, being a vocal person as she is, bombarded him with choicest words. Hopefully, the journo avoided popping such questions to another actress in the future.
