Recently, Ekta Kapoor marked a successful comeback to the world of X (previously Twitter). With this, Kapoor participated in an Ask Me Session, answering questions about her most recent movie and providing incisive retorts.
However, while doing this, she addressed detractors to her most recent movie, Thank You For Coming. The focus was on a specific query that sparked interest in social media. Interestingly, a fan pleaded with Kapoor to stop making adult movies. Taking to X, the troll wrote,

To this Ekta Kapoor replied,
“No I’m an adult so I will make adult movies”
Undeterred by the occasional troll, another user accused Ekta Kapoor and Karan Johar of “ruining the nation”
Kapoor, in her characteristic style, responded with a simple yet contemplative “Hmmmmmm!”
As the conversation unfolded, attributing an increase in divorces to Kapoor and Johar, the producer maintained her enigmatic “Hmmmmmmm hmmmmmm” response.
Addressing her film Thank You For Coming, Kapoor provided a unique perspective, stating that it “doesn’t smash patriarchy but tickles with feathers under its nose so all the bullshit gets sneezed out.”
