THOUGHT: Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga To Increase Their Fees For Animal Sequel?

Despite the box office performance of “Animal,” a sequel is reportedly in the works, according to sources close to the film’s producers.

“The decision to proceed with a sequel was made prior to the film’s release,” revealed a well-informed source. “Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor have already had discussions about the sequel, and Reddy is busy developing the script.”

The only remaining issue is determining the compensation for Reddy and Ranbir. “Their fees need to be renegotiated based on the success of ‘Animal,'” the Bollywood Hungama’s source explained.

While Vanga’s directorial fee for “Animal” remains undisclosed, Ranbir Kapoor’s involvement marks his highest-budgeted film to date, reportedly costing around Rs. 175 crores, with his remuneration set at Rs. 80 crores.

It is anticipated that Ranbir will receive close to Rs. 100 crores for “Animal 2” (tentatively titled “Animal Park”). Interestingly, this would be Ranbir’s first film to have a sequel.
