It is said that Nusrat was going to marry her boyfriend in 2012. She had told during interrogation of the police that she had not met Kader Khan after the incident, while the police came to know that both had booked a room in Mumbai. Nusrat then returned to Kolkata and Kader Khan moved to Patna. Both of them ended the same relationship. Nusrat Jahan had narrated his incident in an interview on this entire incident. Nusrat described the case as the worst phase of her life and said that she felt as if she was being mentally raped.
