‘Cheapness Ki Dukaan Hai Deepika Padukone…’ Says Ranbir Kapoor On A Show, Video Goes Viral

Even though they aren’t together anymore, fans still love seeing them act together in movies. They’ve been in a bunch of films, like “Bachna Ae Haseeno” (2008), “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani” (2013), and “Tamasha” (2015). Interestingly, even though they aren’t a couple anymore, they both still say nice things about each other and clearly respect each other’s talent. They’ve both also moved on in their love lives. Deepika got married to Ranveer Singh in 2018, and Ranbir got married to Alia Bhatt.
Recently, an old video came out again that shows Ranbir Kapoor talking about Deepika Padukone in a way that some people might find offensive. In the video, Ranbir is basically saying that Deepika is fun and likes to joke around in a playful way. He uses a Hindi word that means “naughty” or “cheeky” to describe her personality. He says things like, “There’s a real playful side to Deepika. You can talk dirty with her and joke around in a fun way, and she’ll joke back in an even naughtier way. If you tease her, she won’t get upset, she’ll just tease you back even more.”
He goes on to talk about how a director they both worked with noticed this about Deepika too. He says, “Imtiaz [Ali, the director] noticed this while filming ‘Love Aaj Kal’ too. At first, she seemed shy and quiet. But then he tried talking to her in a more playful and teasing way, and her whole personality changed! Her eyes lit up. She really enjoys that kind of fun.”
Deepika then asks Ranbir in the video, “How would you be playful with me?” Ranbir says back, “I can’t do it in front of the camera, but trust me, I can be playful too. I’m good at it!”
