‘Salaar’ Box Office Estimate Day 1: Prabhas’ Film Likely To Earn Rs 95 Crore, To Beat Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’
December 22, 2023Big Action Showdown! Prabhas Takes on Shah Rukh Khan at the Box Office
After everyone’s wait, Prabhas’ action movie “Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire” finally arrived in theaters last Friday, December 22nd. But it’s not alone! Just a day earlier, Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” also hit the screens, making it a big weekend for movie fans.

Both films are expected to do well, but experts think “Salaar” might be the bigger hit in India. They guess it could make around Rs 95 crore (that’s a lot of money!) on its first day. “Dunki” had a strong start too, earning Rs 30 crore, but for Shah Rukh Khan, this wasn’t his best opening compared to his other big films this year.
“Salaar” already sold a ton of tickets before the release, almost Rs 50 crore! That makes it the movie with the most advance bookings this year, even beating other big names like “Jawan” and “Pathaan.”

Prabhas isn’t alone in this film. He’s joined by other famous actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan. The director is Prashanth Neel, who made the super successful “KGF 2.” This is his first time working with Prabhas, and everyone’s excited to see what they came up with!
When asked about the two big films coming out so close together, Prithviraj said it’s a good thing. It’s the holidays, and now movie lovers have two great choices! So, who will you watch: Prabhas in his action adventure or Shah Rukh Khan in his new adventure?
