Shah Rukh Khan Gives Witty Reply To People Asking About Dunki’s Budget; Reveals How He Wished Salman Khan On Birthday | Ask SRK

Shah Rukh Khan is currently basking in the success of his latest comedy-drama film ‘Dunki’ for which he teamed with director Rajkumar Hirani for the first time. The actor regularly interacts with fans on X and answers their question by conducting an ‘Ask SRK’ session. The ‘Pathaan’ star, who shares a great bond with Salman Khan, revealed how he wished the ‘Tiger 3’ actor his birthday. He further gave a hilarious and witty reply to a fan questing the budget of ‘Dunki’.

Talking about how he wished Salman Khan on his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan wrote on X, “I know and I have wished him. I don’t do it on social media because it’s personal na?? Waise yeh picture bhai ki awesome hai!! #Dunki.”

He further gave a hilarious reply to a fan asking about the budget of ‘Dunki’ and wrote, “Bhai jiska business hai usse karne de. Apna time kisi aur cheez mein laga please. #Dunki.”

‘Dunki’ has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. The movie revolves around a group of friends, who use a backdoor process to move to another country but things take a different turn when they struggle to return home.

While speaking to The Deadline, Shah Rukh Khan talked about the plot of ‘Dunki’. He said, “In English, my film would be called Donkey. But the way, a part of India pronounces the word, it is ‘Dunki’. The Punjabis say it as Dunki. How much should I tell you about the film…It is a film directed by one of the most brilliant filmmakers we have in our country, Mr Raju Hirani. It is written by a fantastic writer, Abhijat Joshi. It is a story of people who want to come back home when you finally get the calling.”

He added, “It is a comic film. His films are always a mix of comedy and a lot of emotions about the country. So, it is a big journey for me and the film goes through different areas around the world and finally comes back home to India.”

‘Dunki’ also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles.
