1. Danny and Jaya Bachchan

Danny says that whatever he is today, because of recommendations from friends as Jaya. Danny and Jaya Bachchan, were friends since their FTII (Film and Television Institute of India) days. The name Danny has also been given by Jaya. Danny’s original name is Tshering Phintso Denzongpa, but due to his relatively difficult name to spell his classmates laughed at him. It was Jaya Bhaduri Bachchan, his then classmate, who would come to his defense and suggested him to keep it simple and named Danny. They never bring their friendship in limelight.
