Ashwini Kalsekar , a familiar face of Indian television, made her first Bollywood appearance in ‘The Hero: Love Story of a Spy’, wherein she played an intelligence officer. In the coming years, she starred in films like ‘Khakee’, ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’, ‘Apaharan’, ‘Johnny Gaddar’, ‘Phoonk’, ‘Phoonk 2’ and almost all editions of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal’ franchise, among other films. Ashwini has also ventured into Marathi and Telugu films. Veteran theatre actor Muzammeel Vakil and actress Neena Gupta have, in past, trained her in acting.
