  • Even the second day was great, with almost 60 crores more.
  • The Telugu version did a little less than the first day, but the Hindi version did even better!
  • In all, it earned over 150 crores in just two days!

Prabhas holds a huge fan base in Telugu states, sticking with him even through films like Radhe Shyam and Adipurush. But this time, with Salaar, things were different. The film, directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel, presented Prabhas in a powerful action hero role, sending his fans into frenzy. This resulted in over 60 crores coming from the Telugu regions alone on day 1!

Including all languages, Salaar crossed boundaries, collecting a hefty 92 crores net across India on its opening day. This pushed it past Adipurush’s 89 crores, placing Salaar as the biggest Indian opener of 2023!

But the story doesn’t end there. Day 2 is in, and early estimates show another fantastic day for Salaar, with approximately 64-66 crores net pouring in. This is incredible, holding strong after a record-breaking opening. While the Telugu version saw a slight dip, the Hindi version surprised everyone by seeing growth, even with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki performing well. In some places, Salaar even opened better than Dunki!

With all this excitement, Salaar’s estimated 2-day total stands at a mighty 156-158 crores net. It’s safe to say that the 200 crore mark will be crossed by tomorrow, and with Christmas holidays arriving on Monday, expect another big jump then.

Salaar marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel. Alongside Prabhas, the film boasts a stellar cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Easwari Rai, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Tinu Anand, and Bobby Simha.

So, there you have it! Salaar is roaring loud at the box office, captivating audiences and breaking records. Get ready for more fireworks as the film continues its journey across India!
