When Hrithik Roshan Received Over 30,000 Marriage Proposals Post His Debut Film

In an interview on The Kapil Sharma Show, the actor revealed that his debut film garnered him over 30,000 marriage proposals from fans, a testament to his instant stardom. This romantic drama, starring Ameesha Patel as the female lead, raked in over Rs 80 crore at the box office. Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, and Mohnish Behl were among the supporting cast.
Today, Hrithik stands as one of the most successful actors in the Hindi film industry. According to media reports, his current net worth is estimated at a staggering Rs 3,000 crore. He resides in a lavish duplex penthouse on Juhu-Versova Link Road in Mumbai, valued at around Rs 100 crore. Additionally, he owns a fleet of cars worth over Rs 10 crore.
Hrithik tied the nuptial knot with his childhood girlfriend, Sussanne Khan on December 20, 2000. They also embraced parenthood with two kids, Hrehaan and Hridaan Roshan. Hrithik and Sussanne, however, separated after more than a decade of their marital life. Their divorce was finalised in 2014. It was reported that the couple would be co-parenting their kids. Hrithik’s followers wanted to know what prompted the couple to go for a divorce. In an interview with Femina magazine, she said, “We had reached a stage in our lives where I decided that it’s better we weren’t together. It was important to be aware and not be in a false relationship.”
