Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, a beloved actor by many around the world, continues his yearly tradition of greeting fans on Eid. This year, a huge crowd gathered outside his home, Mannat, to celebrate the special occasion with him.
Sharing the heartwarming moment on Instagram, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his thanks to his fans. He wrote, “Eid Mubarak to everyone! Thank you for making this day so special for me. May God bless us all with love, happiness, and success.”
In terms of his acting career, Shah Rukh Khan was recently seen in the movie “Dunki,” alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.
But fans are most excited about the news of a possible sequel to his hit movie “Pathaan,” released in 2023. According to a report, filming for “Pathaan 2” is expected to begin by December 2024.
Here’s what makes this sequel even more interesting: reports suggest it might take place before the events of “Tiger vs Pathaan,” another movie within the same spy universe. This means “Pathaan 2” could set the stage for a future clash between two of Bollywood’s biggest stars ā Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Salman Khan’s Tiger.
Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan’s portrayal of Pathaan has been a huge hit with audiences, and there’s a strong demand to see him back in the spy role. A source close to the production is quoted as saying, “This is a surprising turn for the YRF Spy Universe. ‘Pathaan 2’ will be a prequel to ‘Tiger vs Pathaan,’ setting up the future showdown between these two legendary characters on the big screen.”
The source further revealed, “‘Pathaan 2’ is being designed as the main spy film in this universe. It will pave the way for even bigger conflicts in the future installments and set the stage for the next phase of the YRF Spy Universe. In fact, ‘P2’ (as fans are calling it) will build towards the epic battle between Tiger and Pathaan.”
The original “Pathaan” also featured Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in supporting roles, with a special appearance by Salman Khan. The movie was co-written and directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner.
