Kartik Aaryan Opens Up About Struggles and Success on “No Filter Neha”

Kartik Aaryan is a Bollywood actor who’s been on a hot streak lately with several hit movies. He’s become a big star, but it wasn’t always easy. In a recent interview on Neha Dhupia’s chat show “No Filter Neha Season 6,” Kartik talked honestly about the tough times he faced early in his career and how things changed for him after a specific movie.

Neha asked him a fun question: if he could give out an award called “PR’s Favorite” (basically, the celebrity who gets the most media attention), who would it go to? Kartik’s answer? Ranbir Kapoor! It seems like a playful jab, but it got the conversation going.

Kartik opened up about a period in his career where things were slow. He said, “Before a movie called ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety,’ there was a time when people didn’t even recognize me. They didn’t know I was even trying to be an actor. I couldn’t even afford a car to go to award shows. It was tough. For the first few movies, I would literally take rickshaws everywhere.”

Things got a little better when he could finally buy a car, but even that wasn’t perfect! “It was a used car, and the driver’s side door wouldn’t open at all! So I had to climb in from the passenger side every time. The funny thing was, when I’d pull up to a fancy event with a valet, I’d ask them to open the passenger door, then climb over to the driver’s seat and drive off. That’s one of the reasons I love cars so much now. I guess it’s a reaction to those times when I had none. At one point, my dream was just to own a bunch of cars, maybe even a whole garage full of them!”

It sounds like those struggles made Kartik appreciate his success even more. He’s got a lot going for him now, and he’s not slowing down. He’s already finished filming the next movie in the popular “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” franchise, and he’s also got another project called “Chandu Champion” coming out soon, directed by the famous director Kabir Khan.
