What is “Ghilli” about?
The story follows Saravanavelu Velu, a young man who dreams of becoming a Kabaddi player. He travels to Madurai for a competition, but his life takes an unexpected turn. He meets Dhanalakshmi and ends up saving her from a villain named Muthupandi.
Vijay and Trisha reunited!
This re-release comes shortly after Vijay and Trisha’s latest movie “Leo” became a huge success. The director of “Leo,” Lokesh Kanagaraj, explained why he chose them for the film. He said he wanted actors who could believably portray a couple in their 40s with children. According to him, Vijay and Trisha have a natural on-screen chemistry that made the movie’s emotional moments feel real. He even admitted that romance isn’t usually his strong suit in movies, but he’s particularly proud of the romantic scenes in “Leo” thanks to the strong performances by Vijay and Trisha.
