Music Maestro Rashid Khan, Who Crooned Aaoge Jab Tum From Jab We Met, Dies At 55

Famous musician Ustad Rashid Khan died in Kolkata today after battling cancer. He was 55 years old and had been in the hospital for some time.

The Chief Minister of West Bengal was very sad about his death and said he would be given a special honor at his funeral tomorrow. People can pay their respects to Ustad Rashid Khan before the funeral ceremony.

Ustad Rashid Khan started singing when he was only 11 years old! He learned from another famous musician and became a well-known singer himself by the time he was 14. He was especially good at a type of singing called “khayal.”

Ustad Rashid Khan won many awards for his music, including two special awards from the Indian government.
