Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s friendship go way back in the 90s. They have worked together in films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Tumhaare Hai Sanam and also made special appearances in each other films.
But, their friendship has faced hard times as well. They got into a fight at Katrina Kaif’s birthday bash in the year 2008. Things turned sour and they maintained distance from each other. After many years they got back together at Arpita Khan’s wedding and their friendship is going strong as ever. They have been spotted chilling together and promoting each other films on the social media platforms.
In our Flashback Friday section, we came across a video from the year 1998, where SRK gave away his award to Salman. This was the year when Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was released and King Khan swept off all the awards in the Best Actor category at several leading award ceremonies held that year.
In this video, SRK’s leading lady of several films Kajol along with Mahima Chaudhry and Sonali Bendre can be seen on the stage to give away the award. Kajol happily announced his name and SRK, who was present with his wife Gauri and Salman sitting beside him with his sister Arpita on his lap, walked towards the stage to collect his trophy.
The Dilwale actor received his award and ended up putting the crowd in splits with his wit and charm. But, instead of thanking everyone for the award, he called up his best friend Salman on stage to do the honours! What happened next between Salman and SRK was too hilarious and will make you go aww.
