In a fun twist, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone gave a special present to popular Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. The gift? Moisturizer from her own skincare brand named “82°E”.
Diljit was so excited about the gift that he shared a video on his Instagram story. In the video, he showed off the products and joked about whether to use them or keep them as a special memento. He said (in Punjabi), “Wow, should I use these or put them on display? I know I just opened them, but look how nice they are!” He even playfully debated using them at all, saying, “I might just keep them instead of using them. Actually, I do need moisturizer, but I’ll probably treasure these instead.”
The video also showed a sweet note from Deepika to Diljit, though the contents of the letter weren’t revealed.
This exchange comes shortly after Deepika announced she’s expecting a baby with her husband, actor Ranveer Singh! They shared the news on social media, and fans are thrilled for the couple. The baby is due in September 2024.
Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh recently had another exciting moment. He shared the stage with famous British singer Ed Sheeran at a concert in Mumbai! Ed Sheeran even surprised the audience by singing Diljit’s hit song “Lover”.
Diljit also has some upcoming projects to look forward to. His next movie, “Amar Singh Chamkila”, co-starring Parineeti Chopra, is set to be released on Netflix on April 12, 2024.
