Allu Arjun Raises Paycheck for Hotly Anticipated Pushpa 2

Popular South Indian actor Allu Arjun is getting a big raise for his upcoming movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule! According to a report in Hindustan Times, Allu Arjun is charging a lot more money to star in the film than he usually does.

Why the raise? Pushpa 2 has been creating a ton of excitement online, and there are even reports that a streaming service has already agreed to pay a huge amount of money (275 crore rupees) to show the movie online once it’s released. All this buzz seems to have made Allu Arjun more valuable, and so he’s asking for more money to act in the movie.

How much more? Well, normally Allu Arjun charges around 100 crore rupees (that’s a lot of money!) to be in a movie, but for Pushpa 2, he’s going to be asking for 150 crore rupees. This shows just how popular he’s become and how much filmmakers want him in their movies.

The report says that the reason Allu Arjun can ask for more money is because there are so many filmmakers who want to work with him after seeing how excited people are about Pushpa 2. In the South Indian film industry, it’s becoming more and more common for actors to get paid a lot of money, and how much an actor costs can be a big part of how much it costs to make a movie.

Even though he’s getting a raise, Allu Arjun is still busy working on his next projects. He’s already signed on to work with director Atlee on a new movie, which he’ll start filming after he finishes Pushpa 2. Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil and is set to hit theaters on August 15th, 2024!
