Ae Watan Mere Watan Release Date Out: Sara Ali Khan-Led Historical Thriller-Drama To Stream On THIS Date
Sara Ali Khan’s new movie “Ae Watan Mere Watan” is coming soon! The exciting film, set in India before it gained independence, will be available on Prime Video starting March 21st. The movie has everyone talking, and now we finally know when to watch it!
Announcing the release date, Prime Video India wrote, “resilience in her voice, and the spirit of freedom in her heart, hear what she has to say to you this. #WorldRadioDay.”
Talking about the movie, Karan Johar said in a statement, “At Dharmatic Entertainment, we have always taken pride in bringing forth stories that are told from the heart and Ae Watan Mere Watan exemplifies that.”
“Kannan and Darab have taken inspiration from a poignant point of India’s history and woven a rich story with a strong emotional core that is further enriched by Sara’s exceptional portrayal of a young revolutionary. The movie’s first song ‘Qatra Qatra’ was launched at the 54th International Film Festival of India. At the event, Sara Ali Khan said, “This is a story that deserves to be told. There is so much history that this country has to offer, so many unsung heroes. Their stories have the ability to inspire the nation and the coming generations. Through this film we are attempting to showcase their sacrifices, their bravery and their love for the nation, during the freedom struggle. To me, Ae Watan Mere Watan is the ultimate love story – love for your country is the epitome of love and that is what the story is about.”
On the work front, Sara will next star in ‘Murder Mubarak’, which will release on Netflix.
