When R Madhavan Got Rejected By Mani Ratnam!

After R Madhavan did Sandalwood commercial in 1997, he was called for an audition by director Mani Ratnam. R Madhavan gave the screen test for a role in the film ‘Iruvar’, but Mani Ratnam rejected him as he thought R Madhavan’s eyes looked too young for a senior role.
But, destiny has something that already was written. Later he got his first chance in movies with a Kannada film called Shanti Shanti Shanti, in which he acted as the second lead to Abbas.
