Andre Braugher Death: Brooklyn Nine Nine And Homicide Star Passes Away At 61
December 13, 2023Andre Braugher was born in Chicago in 1962 and attended St. Ignatius College Prep for high school. He then went on to study at Stanford University and Julliard School’s Drama Division. After graduating, he began his acting career in theater.
Braugher’s breakthrough role came in 1993 when he began starring in the NBC drama “Homicide: Life on the Street.” He won his first Emmy Award for his performance in the show in 1997.
