Nani spills the beans on upcoming projects, confirms collaborations with Saaho and Dasara directors.
August 27, 2024In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Nani addressed the possibility of an Eega 2 with SS Rajamouli. He revealed that he’s jokingly asked Rajamouli about it multiple times, but the director always responds that the fly would return, not necessarily Nani’s character. Nani believes that if Eega were made today, it would have been a global phenomenon, praising Rajamouli’s instincts and expressing confidence that a sequel would be announced when the time is right.
Nani also shared updates on his upcoming projects. He confirmed that he’ll announce his next film in September, hinting that this announcement will shed light on the much-awaited HIT 3. Additionally, he reaffirmed his collaboration with Dasara director Srikanth Odela for Nani 33 and dispelled rumors that Saaho director Sujeeth’s film has been shelved.
Nani’s immediate focus is on Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, a vigilante action film releasing on August 29, 2024. Directed by Vivek Athreya, the movie also stars SJ Suryah and Priyanka Arul Mohan and follows the story of Surya, a young man with anger issues who clashes with a corrupt police officer.
