A Night of Stars and Celebration at IIFA Utsavam 2024

The IIFA Utsavam 2024 was a big party in Abu Dhabi where they celebrated the best of the best in South Indian and Bollywood movies. It was a night to give awards to the most talented actors, directors, and movies.

And the Winners Are…

  • Best Actor (Telugu): Nani won this award for his amazing acting in the movie “Dasara.” Everyone loved how he played his character in this film.
  • Best Director (Tamil): The famous director Mani Ratnam won this award for his movie “Ponniyin Selvan: II.” People loved how he told the story and how beautiful the movie looked. This movie is a historical epic, which means it’s a story about heroes and history.
  • Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema: This special award was given to the superstar Chiranjeevi. He has made many great movies over many years and is a very important person in the Indian film industry.
  • Best Picture (Tamil): “Jailer,” a movie starring the very popular actor Rajinikanth, won this award. The director of the movie, Nelson Dilipkumar, accepted the award on behalf of everyone who worked on the film.

A Night to Remember

The IIFA Utsavam was a night where everyone celebrated the best that South Indian and Bollywood movies have to offer. It was a chance to see all the biggest stars and celebrate their amazing work.

Nani and Vikram were both honuored with Best Actor awards for their performances in Dasara (Telugu) and Ponniyin Selvan: II (Tamil), respectively. A particularly memorable moment was when Chiranjeevi was presented the Outstanding Achievement award by Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi, adding to the evening’s significance.

The star-studded event featured legends such as AR Rahman, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nandamuri Balakrishna, alongside Bollywood stars like Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, and Aishwarya Rai.
