Aditi Rao Hydari Urges Authorities To Watch Heeramandi After Hours Of Luggage Delay In London: ‘Not My First Rodeo…’
June 27, 2024Aditi Rao Hydari has been facing difficulties in London as she didn’t receive her bags from Heathrow Airport. The actress took to her X (formerly known as Twitter) and criticised Heathrow Airport and British Airways. She shared a series of tweets to condemn the delay but no resolutions have been made by both the parties.
Aditi wrote on X “@British_Airways and @HeathrowAirport have reached an all time low! The flight from mumbai landed in london at 2:15 pm It’s now 6:02 pm tired passengers , hungry children, people in wheelchairs chairs are waiting at an empty luggage belt with no information and zero responsibility except QR codes that are being handed out for an airport where the tech has supposedly crashed! Irony x Innefficinecy x max Oh! generous compensation for toiletries are being offered. Geeee thanks!”
After her tweet, British Airways wrote “Sorry to hear you’ve had a delay in getting your baggage when landing. Please accept our sincere apologies for this.”
She then again tweeted, “5 hours patiently waiting at an airport… and I’m now leaving the airport without my bag as are many other distressed people. People who have medicines, epipens and other essentials. There is zero assurance that we will get our luggage within 24 hours An apology is really not enough for this disastrous mess… it’s a shame. @British_Airways @HeathrowAirport.”
After waiting for 19 hours, Aditi asked them to watch Heeramandi to see her strength to fight for justice. She wrote, “19 hours and ticking…. Also, @British_Airways just putting it out there. This isn’t my first rodeo with the brits…watch #Heeramandi on @NetflixIndia and you’ll know that I’m not one to go down without a fight for justice! So can you free our bags! ASAP! I have a conference to attend, and the essentials I’ll need for it will not meet your criteria for essentials. Thanks.”
