Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, released last Friday in several languages, has been a big hit at the box office! Starring Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the action-packed movie had a strong start in India. What’s the story about?

Salaar is based on Prashanth Neel’s 2014 film Ugramm and tells the story of two childhood friends who become bitter enemies. Prabhas plays Deva, while Prithviraj takes on the role of Varadharaja Mannar. Other important characters are played by Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, and Sriya Reddy.
