Dunki Box Office Day 4: Shah Rukh Khan’s Film Collects Rs. 32.50 Crores On Sunday In India; Enters Rs. 100 crore club

Shah Rukh Khan strikes gold again! His latest film, Dunki, has joined his previous hits Pathaan and Jawan in crossing the Rs. 100 crore mark at the box office. This makes it his 3rd consecutive film to achieve this feat!

After a decent opening of Rs. 29 crores, Dunki dipped slightly on Friday and Saturday, collecting Rs. 20 crores and Rs. 25 crores respectively. However, Sunday saw a good jump, with the film earning around Rs. 31-33 crores. This brings the total collection to Rs. 106 crores in just 4 days.

While Rs. 100 crore is a big milestone, Dunki’s performance is considered below expectations considering the powerful combination of director Rajkumar Hirani and superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The film’s Tuesday collection will be crucial in determining whether it can be called a true “hit.” However, its controlled budget promises a good chance of it at least breaking even.

Fun fact: Dunki is Shah Rukh Khan’s 10th film to hit the Rs. 100 crore club, placing him third among Hindi cinema actors (after Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar).

The upcoming Christmas holiday on Monday is expected to boost Dunki’s earnings, with the 5th day likely bringing in another Rs. 20 crores or more. So, while the verdict on Dunki’s overall success is still out, it’s definitely on a good track!
