Dunki Box Office Day 20: SRK’s Film Struggles To Make 2 Crore After Crossing 218 Crore
January 10, 2024Shah Rukh Khan’s latest movie, Dunki, came out in 2023 and did pretty well with the audience. It tells the story of illegal immigration, a hot topic these days. The movie has a great cast, including King Khan himself, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani.

Dunki started strong, making nearly 30 crore rupees (about $3.5 million) on its first day. But throughout the week, the numbers dropped. Still, after two weeks, it managed to cross the 200 crore mark ($23 million), which is a big deal!
However, during the next week, the collections dipped again. This is partly because another big movie, Salaar, came out at the same time. Salaar was a huge hit, opening with a whopping 90 crores ($10 million) and reaching 400 crores ($46 million) worldwide in just four days! It even crossed the 600 crore mark ($70 million) globally.
So, Dunki is facing some tough competition from Salaar. It might not earn as much anymore, but it’s still done well overall. It crossed the 218 crore mark ($25 million) after 19 days, which is quite good!
