Aadujeevitham Does Well at the Box Office

The Malayalam movie “Aadujeevitham” (which means “Goat Life”) is a big hit! It’s a suspenseful story about a man who has to survive a difficult situation. The film came out on March 28th, 2024 and has sparked conversations about the challenges faced by migrant workers in Arab countries. People are excited to see how well it does over the long weekend.

Strong Opening for Aadujeevitham

The movie did very well on its opening day, making ₹7.6 crore (roughly $9.1 million) in India alone. By the next day (March 29th), it had earned a total of ₹14.1 crore (around $17 million) across all languages in India. Most of the viewers (75%) were watching the Malayalam version. About the Movie

“Aadujeevitham” is based on a true story. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays Najeeb Mohammed, a worker from Kerala, India, who is forced to work as a goat herder on a farm in Saudi Arabia. Amala Paul acts as Najeeb’s wife, Sainu. Other important characters include:

  • Ummah (played by Shobha Mohan), Najeeb’s mother
