Diljit Dosanjh Makes History at Coachella!

Big Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh did something amazing last year! He became the first singer ever from Punjab to perform at the famous Coachella music festival. Even though it was a huge honor, Diljit actually said in a recent interview that he didn’t feel like he deserved to be there. He believes there are many other musicians who are better than him. He thinks it might have just been lucky timing or maybe even something meant to be!

Diljit says he never even dreamed of performing at Coachella, but he knew how important it was. After all, he was the first person from India to ever get a chance to perform there! Even though it wasn’t exactly a dream come true, it was definitely something he’d hoped for someday.

The festival had lots of big stars that day, like BLACKPINK and Charli XCX. But Diljit stole the show! He wore cool traditional Punjabi clothes with sneakers and sang his most popular songs, like “G.O.A.T.” and “Patiala Peg.” The crowd went wild! He even had a live band and a group of Bhangra dancers to make things even more exciting.

The best part? A famous American music producer named Diplo was spotted dancing in the crowd during one of Diljit’s songs! Everyone wanted him to sing more songs after he finished, but Diljit thanked them for their love and said he had to go. Still, he ended the show on a high note, saying something like, “We made history here today! Punjabi music is now at Coachella!”

Diljit’s performance wasn’t just fun, it was a big deal for Punjabi music around the world. He showed everyone how talented he is and helped pave the way for other Punjabi musicians. He’s also a really humble and grateful guy, which is why so many people love him in India and all over the world.
