One of the most loved animated shows, The Legend Of Hanuman will soon be back with its third season. Based on Hindu mythology, it is not just loved by children but even older audiences hail it.


The first season of the show aired on January 29, 2021, with a total of 13 episodes. The second season, which contained thirteen episodes as well, premiered in the same year in August. Ever since then, fans have been patiently awaiting the release of the third season.

As per reports, the third season will soon be available for streaming.

Revolving around the legendary vanar, it depicts his strength to be righteous in the fight against evil. He is the protector and the ultimate guardian of the needy.


The makers released a teaser on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and wrote, “Diwali ke shubh avsar par, pesh hai ek jhalki, Pavan Putra Hanuman ji ki kahani ke agle padaav ki. Dekhiye Mahabali Hanuman ki kahani ka agla charan, #HotstarSpecials #TheLegendOfHanumanS3, in January 2024.”

The combination of mythology and animation giving it a modern twist makes for a fascinating watch. The ratings of the two seasons on IMDb stand at 9.1 and 8.6 respectively.

What is The Legend of Hanuman Season 3 about?


The story is narrated by Sharad Kelkar who is the voice behind Raavan. In the third season, Hanuman will lock horns with the king of Lanka Raavan. He wrecks havoc in the kingdom of Lanka as everyone watches in fear and awe.

The teaser shows Raavan asking Hanuman who he is, because a simple ‘Vanar’ cannot kill such powerful Rakshasas or escape from the weapons of Indrajit.


Directed by Jeevan J. Kang and Navin John, it is available to watch in 7 languages: Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Marathi; which is quite an unique approach for an animated mythological drama.
