Sharad Kelkar Not Returning for The Family Man Season 3

Sharad Kelkar, a well-known actor, played a very important role in the first two seasons of the popular Indian web series, The Family Man. He got a lot of praise for his acting. However, it seems he won’t be in season 3, even though filming just started and the season is expected to be released on Amazon Prime Video in 2025.

In an interview, Kelkar said he wasn’t contacted by the show’s creators about being in season 3. He wasn’t even tagged in any announcements about the new season. He mentioned he isn’t sure if his character is even part of the story this time around.

Kelkar believes the show will still be successful, even without him. He joked that they’ll probably find another actor to play his part. He also said he wouldn’t lie to the fans, so if he’s not in the new season, they’ll miss him!

A Little More About The Family Man

The Family Man is an Indian spy thriller series created for Amazon Prime Video. It’s told in Hindi and follows the story of Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj Bajpayee. Srikant is a normal guy with a family, but secretly works as a spy for a government agency.

Other actors in the show include Priyamani, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, and Dalip Tahil. The creators of the show are Raj & DK, who also directed and wrote parts of it. Season 2 added Samantha Ruth Prabhu as a new villain, marking her first appearance in a web series.
