Rasika Dugal, who is getting ready for the third season of the popular show Mirzapur, recently talked about how the show made her very famous. She also shared about the tough times she faced early in her career, when she was almost cast in five different movies, but didn’t get the roles. The people making the movies thought she wouldn’t be popular enough, so they replaced her with someone else. Rasika was very upset by this and it had a big impact on her.

In an interview, Rasika mentioned that she was starting to feel discouraged about how few people watch independent films, and Mirzapur helped her reach a much larger audience. She remembers a time between 2012 and 2015 when she was close to getting roles in five movies, but none of them worked out because the producers didn’t think she was well-known enough. This really affected her.

Before this, Rasika hinted that there might be a fourth season of Mirzapur. The third season of Mirzapur has a lot of the same actors, but Divyendu Sharma, who played Munna Tripathi, is not in this season. Ali Fazal confirmed that Jeetendra Kumar, known for his role in Panchayat, makes a special appearance in Mirzapur 3. You can watch the show on Prime Video. Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer directed it.
