In 2022, Hae In revealed the extreme measures he took to prepare for the role of Im Suho, a North Korean spy on a mission in South Korea. To fully embody the character, he drastically reduced his sleep to just two hours a day, spending the rest of his time training and rehearsing.

Beyond sleep deprivation, Hae In also focused on physical and mental preparation. He acquired a tan to match his character’s appearance, learned regional dialects, and honed his martial arts skills to add authenticity to his performance. His dedication and hard work paid off, earning him critical acclaim for his portrayal of Suho.

Snowdrop, which premiered in late 2021, was a highly anticipated drama that received positive reviews for its emotional narrative. The show also marked the acting debut of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, who played the role of Eun Young-ro. The chemistry between Hae In and Jisoo was a highlight of the drama, and their on-screen romance captivated audiences.

Following the success of Snowdrop, Hae In continued to impress with his role in the romantic comedy Love Next Door. His performance in the tvN drama, opposite Jung So Min, showcased his versatility as an actor.
