In a recent episode, a contestant named Chandrika Dixit talked about her difficult childhood and revealed some surprising things about her father.
Chandrika told the other contestants that her mother died when she was only six months old. She explained that she never had a good relationship with her father because he started drinking a lot and ignored her after her mother’s death. Chandrika also revealed that her father has been married four or five times and never really cared about her.
Chandrika’s story surprised the other contestants, and one of them, Ranvir Shorey, asked her to repeat what she said to make sure he understood correctly. Chandrika said she hated her father for not being there for her when she needed him.
Chandrika went on to explain that her grandmother adopted her when she was eight or nine years old because she found out that Chandrika was being treated badly by relatives. Chandrika said that her relatives would often give her the last piece of food that was left in the kitchen.
Other contestants on the show have also shared personal stories. For example, Payal Malik talked about the difficulties she faced when her husband, Armaan, married another woman, Kritika, who is also a contestant on Bigg Boss.
