Yeh Hai Chahatein 7th August 2024 Written Update: Kaashvi takes Meera place in ‘Muh dikayi’ ceremony

The episode starts with Nitya telling Kaashvi’s family that Arjun did the right thing by marrying Meera. She invites them to a ceremony for Meera. Kaashvi’s grandmother scolds Nitya for inviting them and says Arjun ruined Kaashvi’s life. Nitya leaves after making a mean comment.

Meanwhile, Meera wonders why the ceremony is needed. She hears Karun scream and finds out his stomach hurts. She takes him to the hospital.

At the ceremony, Nitya welcomes guests. Romila arrives and they find out Meera isn’t home. Romila jokes that Meera might have gone to the police to report Nitya. Nitya worries.

At the hospital, Kaashvi sees Karun with Meera. Meera asks the doctor to treat Karun. The doctor asks who Karun’s mother is. Both Kaashvi and Meera claim to be his mother, but Meera explains the misunderstanding. The doctor warns them about Karun’s junk food intake.

Nitya gets worried because Meera isn’t answering her calls and overhears gossip.

Meera tells Kaashvi to check on Karun, who is unconscious. Kaashvi gets emotional. They argue and Meera reveals that Mohan died. Kaashvi mentions what Arjun said, but Meera can’t tell her the truth. Kaashvi believes Arjun. Nitya calls and demands Meera come home.

Karun calls for his mother while unconscious and holds Meera’s hand. Kaashvi decides to go to Nitya’s house instead. She finds out Nagesh is unconscious and leaves.

At Nitya’s house, guests ask for Meera. Nitya lies that Meera is at the salon. Kaashvi arrives wearing a veil. Nitya mistakes her for Meera and shows her a gift. Romila asks Kaashvi to show her face. Kaashvi coughs.

The episode ends.

In the next episode, Arjun finds out Kaashvi is pregnant and asks if the child is his.
