The show begins with Savi thinking about what Shantanu told her and about her friend Saisha. Raju, another friend, comes over and gives Savi a handkerchief to wipe her tears. Raju understands the pressure Savi feels about a marriage proposal. He also came to ask her to get married but wonders if she can be a mother to Saisha. Savi doesn’t know how to answer and leaves.

Savi thinks about what Raju said and shares her worries with a picture of her friend Ishaan. She tells the picture that she can’t see herself being happy with a person like Rajat, the man she is supposed to marry. She prays for guidance. The picture falls and lands on her saree, the special dress she is wearing.

Savi remembers that she told Saisha she would tie a knot in her saree and pray that they would never be apart. She sees this as a sign from God.

Savi’s friend Isha comes over and talks to her. Isha understands how Savi feels and tells her that she didn’t like the idea of marriage at first either, but Shantanu explained it to her. Isha believes that Savi already cares for Saisha like a mother and that Saisha has brought happiness back into Savi’s life. She begs Savi to marry Rajat.

The next day, Savi calls Raju and Rajat to her house. She agrees to marry Rajat but only if Aman, who has done something wrong to their friend Mrunmayi, confesses his crime and goes to jail. Rajat refuses, saying he won’t ruin his relationship with Aman, who is like a brother to him. Aman secretly listens to their conversation.

Aman goes to the police and confesses to the crime, even though he didn’t do it. He does this so Savi will marry Rajat. He tells Mrunmayi on the phone that he didn’t do anything wrong.

Rajat talks to his lawyer to find a way to get Aman out of jail. A private investigator says he will find the real culprit. Lucky, who is also involved, overhears and gets scared. Raju tells everyone the good news that Savi has agreed to marry Rajat.

Rajat meets Savi and tells her that there will be no husband and wife relationship between them. He asks her not to expect anything from him. Savi agrees, saying she is only marrying him for Saisha.
