Kamal Haasan Starer Tamil Movie ‘Kuruthipunal’ makes history

Kuruthipunal is the first Tamil movie that used Dolby sound. The movie was a remake of the Bollywood film Govind Nihalani directed by Drohkaal. Directed by P.C. Sriram, the movie starred Kamal Haasan and Arjun.
The film was released in theatre in 1995.
