1. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh

Accused for rape, Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment, the verdict of which was announced yesterday (August 28, 2017). He had been accused by a Dera sadhwi of rape in 2002 and after over 200 hearings, the self-proclaimed messenger of God was found guilty and hopefully, will no longer be seen enjoying his fandom on earth.

2. Asaram Bapu

Arrested in 2013 for raping a minor on the pretext of blessing her, Asaram Bapu is another of those brazen-faced babas who have allegedly assaulted many girls and women sexually while hiding under the sacred white garb of religiousness. His case is still pending with the court but post the verdict of Gurmeet Ram Rahim, it is expected that he will soon be meeting his fate.
