According to a TOI report, a 26-year-old woman named Madhu Mahanand killed herself in front of her two-year-old son on Wednesday in the suburbs of Raipur. Her husband Nakul said she had been following the news on the case religiously and wouldn’t miss out on a single piece of information in regards to that.

This shocking incident happened when her husband was reportedly at work. It is said that the distressed women locked herself in the bedroom and hung herself in the bedroom from a ceiling fan even as her son looked on.

Inspector Bhushan Ekka said the police control room received a call about Madhu Mahanand’s unnatural death on Wednesday evening. She was very attached to the character played by Pratyusha in the Television serial, the inspector added.
