“Kalki 2898 AD” is a popular new movie that’s doing really well. Some people love the story, which is based on old Indian tales, while others really like the actors who make brief appearances in the film. One of these actors is Vijay Deverakonda, who plays a warrior.

Reports say Vijay didn’t get paid for his role. He might even have a bigger part in the second “Kalki” movie, appearing in important scenes that show what happened in the past.

The movie’s director said it will be three years before the next movie is done, but the producer claims most of it has been filmed already. Another famous actor, Kamal Haasan, also says his character will be much bigger in the second movie.

In other news, Vijay Deverakonda talked about how he didn’t get paid much as an actor until his movie “Kushi.” He says it’s important to focus on becoming a good actor first and money will come later.

Vijay Devarakonda on ‘getting paid peanuts’ until Kushi

Talking about his fee, Vijay Deverakonda had once said that he was getting paid peanuts before Kushi. “I am a star, but I started to see little money only recently, around Kushi. As an outsider, one shouldn’t think about money at first. One should worry about cementing his style, and performances; my work in the films should speak first. Outside, a lot is said about how much I am earning and all that. I earned peanuts till ‘Kushi’. Only after that film, I started taking my market price,” he said at a promo event for his upcoming film Family Star.
