The Major of the Department of Internal Security of the Police, Anastasiya Nesterova, was nicknamed Ovcharka for her dedication and stranglehold by her colleagues. A series of dramatic events leads to the fact that her boss Oleg Rebrov, with whom Anastasiya has had not only business relations in the past, sends Nesterova on a business trip to the Russian outback. In a provincial town, during a difficult game, Major Nesterova finds herself under the gun of a secret criminal group. And she is also waiting for a new impudent partner Vorobyov, a new boss Ershov, and a new untimely feeling for one man.
